Scrutinize Malicious Predecessor

- Scrutinize
v. to examine carefully and critically
The teacher scrutinized her students' essays.

- Malicious
adj. harmful, spiteful
The malicious spirit drove out the inhabitants from their home.

- Predecessor
n. someone who comes before you (usu. in position or office)
My predecessor gave me many tips for running the office.
