adj. deserving pity
The frail-looking dog was pitiable, so I gave it some food and took it inside to care for it.

- Scrupulous
adj. paying great attention to detail
I am a scrupulous proofreader and never miss an error.

- Paramount
adj. predominant, superior, most important
Our paramount concern is the safety of our employees.
